Photosensitive Aluminum

Also referred to as photo anodized aluminum, photosensitive aluminum's durability, high-quality, and long-lasting appearance make it a perfect choice for labeling and signage in outdoor and other harsh environments. The product gets its durability from a unique process which seals an image within a hard anodized layer while maintaining the image's original integrity when exposed to a variety of challenging environments, including high temperatures, long-term outdoor UV exposure, abrasion, salt spray, and most chemicals.

Labels, nameplates, and panels made from photosensitive aluminum can be produced quickly and economically for small- to high-volume production requirements. The manufacturing process produces photo images, precise detailed design, and fine text while being more efficient and environmentally friendly than etching.
